The Project.
Yaya is a collection of vignettes which tells the story of the relationship between a grandson and his grandmother, and how they stay connected and show love for each other in spite of there being a continent between them.
Directed by Sebastian Ceraini.
Premiered at the Chilliwack independent film festival 2026. Then debuted at the Toronto Lataff Festival
Fun fact! I deeply resonate with this project since my grandma is on the opposite side of Canada so, I don't see her too often. Being far apart from those you love is a challenge known to many!
